There are many in the eastern region who are often misrepresented due to the big cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco. As Thomas Paine argued in "Common Sense", it is absurd for an island to rule a continent. It is also absurd for a small land area to dictate the decisions for an area 6x bigger.
